Jimmy Dempsey is a Singer/Songwriter /Musician who has performed for more than thirty three years in a variety of music projects which include, Jazz, Blues, Southern Rock, Classic Rock, Country, Bluegrass and Christian Contemporary Rock.  Jimmy took an interest in music very early at the age of 8yrs old.  He was born and raised in Detroit in the 60's and was inspired by his Grandpa Dempsey.  "Grandpa D taught me how to play the  ukulele and that was all it took to know what I was all about!" From there he expanded into multiple instruments such as guitar, piano/keyboards, and bass. His first and strongest love is playing  the drums.  His passion for singing equals his passion for drumming and together they have been the driving force behind his music. "God gave me the gift of music!  It has always been embedded deep within my heart and soul as early as I can remember.  It's the only love I've had in my life that's been consistently giving and true to me.  It never lets you down, gives you pain or breaks your heart!"  Jimmy has performed in hundreds of shows with many different projects.  His passion for being on stage is very obvious as every ounce of himself pours out to his audiences during his performances.
